It features an industrial PLC and a touchscreen interface to control all parameters—pressure, temperature, and sealing times—ensuring consistent, high-quality final products.

This horizontal machine is user-friendly and offers direct visibility of mechanical and moving parts, enabling preventive maintenance to ensure packaging meets IMAR’s quality standards.

Unlike vertical multi-lane sachet machines, horizontal packaging machines allow for a more visually appealing pouch design, making them an attractive branding and marketing tool, especially for industries like cosmetics and parapharmacy.

In addition, horizontal packaging machines are modular systems where stations can be added depending on the pouch’s complexity—ranging from a simple SACHET to, for example, DOYPACK-style pouches that can stand upright, preventing spills. They can also include closure systems such as zippers or caps, allowing for multiple uses of the same package.

These advanced pouch types are mainly used in the food and chemical industries, suitable for both solid and viscous and/or liquid products.
