Difficult-flow powder filling machine
Powder filling machines handle dry products composed of fine powder particles. These products are generally very volatile and, therefore, do not flow easily, tend to compact, and can form arches during handling.

Since these are products that do not flow easily by gravity alone, powder filling machines require a screw feeder. The screw feeders developed by IMAR for our powder filling machines are controlled by independent servo motors for each screw. This allows the dose on each line to be adjusted independently with complete precision.
Moreover, thanks to an exclusive IMAR design, our screw feeders are fully enclosed systems in which the product is never exposed to the outside during the filling process, unlike the traditional designs used by most manufacturers.
In this way, powder filling machines prevent leaks and product buildup around the filling nozzles and, more importantly, eliminate the risk of any external element accidentally entering the package and contaminating its contents.
